Yoga Retreat

I am also planning an optional excursion add-on to the Blue River Resort and Hot Springs in the rainforest of Rincón de la Vieja, March 12–15, for those who would like to extend their stay. This resort is located approximately 3 ½ hours from Playa Negra, on the north side of the volcano, and offers a landscape very different from the coast. Guests will have the opportunity to experience lush rainforest, waterfalls, natural hot springs, and volcanic mud baths. Additional details for this excursion will be provided soon.

Playa Negra, Costa Rica

We will be staying at the retreat house from March 5–12. Most of our time will be spent enjoying the beauty and tranquility of Playa Negra, with opportunities for a few small excursions in the surrounding area. Daily activities will include morning and evening yoga sessions, beach walks, and ample free time to relax by the pool, swim in the ocean, or simply rest and restore. Massages can also be arranged at the house for those interested. Please note that the cost of massages and additional excursions such as surf lessons or horseback riding are not included in the retreat pricing, though I am happy to assist with making these arrangements.

Pricing for the Costa Rica Women’s Therapeutic Yoga Retreat includes lodging, ground transportation, and meals (with the exception of one dinner out), along with non-alcoholic beverages. Alcohol is not included, though you are welcome to purchase your own. Flights are also not included in the retreat cost. Meals will be provided by LaVentana Catering, whose fresh, locally sourced food has been a highlight of previous retreats. Dietary preferences and restrictions will be thoughtfully accommodated in menu planning.
